Ambleside to Rydal Water, the Coffin Route and Rydall Hall ‘C’ walk – 5 miles. Led by Amanda with option for a shorter D walk to Rydal Water and Rydal Hall or Caves
Good paths throughout, thankfully with very little mud! There is one stile with optional gate and one short but steep climb up to the Coffin Route. There are lovely views of hte lake and surrounding fells with other interesting sights along the way.
There is an option for a shorter D walk veering off at the head of Rydal water and up to Rydal Hall OR up to Rydal Caves and back. The caves are not included in the C walk.
