Newby Bridge circular ‘C’ walk – 4.5-5 miles. Led by Amanda
The wall starts from Newby Bridge Halt by the Swan Hotel to Finsthwaite, High Dam, Bobbin Mill and back to Newby Bridge for refreshments.
There are several steady but steep climbs as the terrain undulates throughout.
The paths are predominantly well made although there are areas where the rain has created slippery surfaces and the fields are boggy underfoot.
