Grasmere, 4 1/2 or 6 1/2 miles circular walk. Rydal Water, Loughrigg Terrace with option to extend around Loughrigg Tarn.
Our circular walk starts at the entrance to Rydal Park. We cross the road to Rydal water and climb to Rydal cave and continue to Loughrigg Terrace.
We have an option at this point to do a shorter walk back to Grasmere (4 1/2 miles) or to extend the walk to Loughrigg Tarn (6 1/2 )
